Why is it free?
Playkeeper is open source (AGPL-3.0), and every feature stays free. A paid add-on will only ever be storage you'd otherwise rent yourself.
What's the catch?
There's none in the software: no ads, limits or trial. You pay your VPS provider, and Playkeeper does the setup, backups and updates.
